Who We Are
Palmetto Sky Flight School was founded out of a calling that began long before aviation entered the picture. Growing up, my family and I spent time serving as full-time missionaries in Honduras and Costa Rica, sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Through countless flights between the United States and Honduras, I developed a deep fascination with aviation — not just for the airplanes themselves, but for the sense of freedom and purpose that flying represents.
When COVID-19 changed the world, I decided to step away from a planned career in dentistry and pursue aviation full-time. What began as a temporary position as a Certified Flight Instructor quickly became a passion. I found joy in teaching, building relationships, and helping each student grow into a safe, confident pilot.
Dani and I are newlyweds, and she works as a nurse — caring for people in much the same way we strive to care for our students. We both believe in serving others wholeheartedly, whether in the classroom, in the air, or in our daily lives.
Outside of aviation, I love to hunt, fish, and compete in just about any sport that exists — I’m fiercely competitive and always up for a challenge. I’m also an active member of my church, where my faith continues to shape how I live and lead.
Palmetto Sky exists for more than just flight training — it exists to glorify Jesus Christ through excellence, honesty, and care. We care deeply about doing things the right way, without cutting corners or compromising quality. Every student matters, every lesson counts, and every flight is an opportunity to honor God.
